Nexeo Staffing is hiring a Woodworker / Display Fabricator for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Las Vegas. This is NOT a general warehouse position. We are specifically looking for candidates with hands-on experience building, cutting, measuring, fabricating, or assembling products using wood, plywood, and similar materials. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience as a woodworker, carpenter, cabinet builder, exhibit/display fabricator, fixture builder, scenic/set builder, construction carpenter, or hands-on fabricator who wants steady, full-time work. The primary focus of this position is helping build and assemble custom displays and exhibits used for trade shows and live events. Approximately 70% of the position involves fabrication/building and 30% involves warehouse and material-handling support.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble custom displays, exhibits, and components
• Measure, mark, cut, fit, and assemble materials
• Work with wood, plywood, laminates, and other fabrication materials
• Safely operate a table saw and other woodworking equipment
• Use miter saws, drills, routers, sanders, and other hand/power tools
• Accurately read a tape measure, including fractional measurements
• Follow measurements, drawings, and basic build instructions
• Perform repairs, modifications, and adjustments to display components
• Inspect completed work for fit, measurements, and quality
• Assist with staging, loading/unloading, and material handling as needed
• Operate a sit-down forklift when qualified
• Maintain a clean and safe fabrication/shop environment

Qualifications

• Hands-on woodworking, carpentry, cabinet building, millwork, exhibit fabrication, display building, fixture building, or similar fabrication experience
• Table saw experience
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Experience with hand and power tools
• Ability to measure, cut, and assemble materials with accuracy
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with your hands
• Ability to follow drawings, measurements, or build instructions
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
• Basic computer skills, including Word and Excel
• Forklift experience preferred
• Reliable transportation required

Pay

$22.00 per hour

Schedule

Full Time | Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
