Work Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week, M - W

Type of Employment: 4-month Contract

Compensation: $28 - $31 / hr

Job Description:

Addison Group is seeking a detail-oriented Part-Time Benefits Administrator with experience supporting leave of absence programs for our client. This position provides administrative support for leave-related activities and works closely with the Lead Leave Administrator to help maintain accurate records, timely documentation, and compliance with applicable requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Examine and manage leave-related paperwork to confirm information is complete and aligns with applicable policies and regulations.
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Lead Leave Administrator with ongoing leave cases and related activities.
  • Organize and maintain employee leave information, ensuring records remain accurate and current.
  • Communicate with employees and managers regarding outstanding forms or information needed to complete leave requests.
  • Help monitor leave schedules, required actions, approvals, and related employee communications.
  • Track documentation and administrative tasks to help ensure deadlines and audit requirements are met.
  • Assist with leave-related reports, record reviews, and audit preparation as requested.

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of benefits administration experience, preferably with direct exposure to leave of absence processes.
  • Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, and other relevant federal or state leave requirements.
  • Comfortable handling confidential employee information professionally and discreetly.
  • Experience working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
