Location: Crescent City, California

Position: Full-Time, On-Site

Salary: $400,000 per year

About the Opportunity

Crescent City is located in the northwest corner of California, offering an amazing opportunity for the outdoor enthusiast. The area is home to the Redwood State and National Forest, multiple coastline beaches, two lighthouses, surfing, camping, hiking, and fishing.

Stallant Health and Wellness is a Rural Health Clinic, serving the needs of our community with medical, dental, chiropractic, and counseling services. We are in the process of expanding our clinic facilities, and we are seeking more specialists to come onsite to work with us, to further meet the needs of the patients we serve.


Compensation and Benefits

  • $400,000 annual base salary

Patient Care Expectations

The psychiatrist will provide outpatient psychiatric care to patients with a range of behavioral and mental health needs.

Productivity expectation is an average of 2 patients per hour, minimum.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric treatment
  • Develop individualized treatment plans
  • Coordinate care with primary care and behavioral health providers
  • Accurate and timely documentation
  • Provide evidence-based psychiatric treatment appropriate to patient needs
  • Help expand access to psychiatric services for a rural and underserved population


Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active California medical license
  • Appropriate prescribing credentials, including DEA registration
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage a varied outpatient psychiatric population
  • Willingness to relocate to practice on-site in Crescent City, California
