Registered Nurse Unit Manager
Oasis at the Keys Nursing and Rehab, a premier Assisted Living Facility in Tavernier, Florida, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Unit Manager and lead clinical operations within our skilled nursing facility. As a Unit Manager (RN), you will provide clinical supervision to licensed nurses and CNAs, ensuring compliance with clinical documentation standards and medication pass procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical supervision to licensed nurses and CNAs under the guidance of the Director and Assistant Director of Nursing
Oversee daily care operations, including admissions, discharges, diagnostics, and emergency room coordination
Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, medication pass procedures, treatment cart readiness, and crash cart protocols
Conduct routine rounds to assess resident hygiene, room cleanliness, and overall care environment
Monitor and ensure timely completion of CNA documentation, clinical alerts, refrigerator logs, and other quality indicators
Coordinate care delivery with the on-site APRN, attending physicians, and Medical Director
Assist in staff scheduling, dining room coverage, and incident report follow-up
Participate in staff onboarding and in-service education sessions
Qualifications:
Active Florida RN license (Required)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Prior nurse management or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience is a plus
