Discovery Point Hamilton Mill is seeking an experienced, dependable, and hands-on Childcare Center Director to join our leadership team.

We are looking for a strong leader who can successfully manage daily operations, staff development, families, licensing compliance, and childcare programs.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

• Previous childcare center Director/Assistant Director management experience
  
  
• Georgia Quality Rated experience REQUIRED
  
  
• CACFP experience REQUIRED
  
  
• Strong knowledge of Georgia DECAL / Bright from the Start regulations
  
  
• Experience with staff training, coaching, and professional development
  
  
• Experience managing licensing documentation and compliance
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily center operations and staffing
  
  
• Recruit, onboard, train, supervise, and evaluate employees
  
  
• Provide ongoing staff training and coaching to improve classroom quality and teacher performance
  
  
• Ensure employees complete required annual training and maintain required credentials
  
  
• Conduct staff meetings and provide clear expectations, procedures, and follow-up
  
  
• Observe classrooms and provide teachers with constructive feedback and support
  
  
• Maintain Quality Rated standards, documentation, and continuous quality improvement
  
  
• Manage CACFP compliance, records, meal documentation, and program requirements
  
  
• Maintain compliance with Georgia DECAL licensing requirements
  
  
• Manage staff schedules, attendance, and performance
  
  
• Communicate professionally with parents and families
  
  
• Conduct tours and support enrollment
  
  
• Support Georgia Pre-K and other center programs
  
  
• Maintain a safe, organized, professional, and positive center environment
  
  

We need a hands-on Director who can lead and develop a team, not simply manage from the office. The right candidate should be comfortable setting expectations, holding staff accountable, providing training, solving problems, and stepping into classrooms when needed.
