Preschool Cook/Chef at Kiddie Academy of Williamsburg

Kiddie Academy Of Williamsburg in Brooklyn, NY is looking for one Chef/Cook to join our strong team. We are located on 288 S 5th St. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and hard-working.

Responsibilities

• Comfortable in working and serving children under five years old
• Responsible for the planning and preparation of meals and snacks for 80 - 100 students
• Responsible for logging inventory of supplies in kitchen
• Responsible for creating monthly menu
• Ensures that all state and local health department, licensing, safety and nutritional requirements are met; follows standards of personal hygiene, safety, and sanitation and ensures that other staff in kitchen do the same.
• Removes trays and leftovers from classrooms and disposes accordingly.
• Keeps kitchen, including appliances, cabinets and all inventory, organized and clean.
• Hours are from 7am to 3pm

Qualifications

• Maintains Food Handler’s Certification as required by state or local regulations.
