We are seeking a Per Diem Floor Tech to join our dedicated team at Unity Health and Rehabilitation Center, a skilled nursing facility located in Miami, Florida. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Responsibilities:
Clean up spills, soiled areas, and other conditions as observed or directed
Assist in maintaining a neat and odor-free facility
Clean rooms, offices, and common areas; polish and straighten items; confirm residents' rooms are safe, comfortable, and maintained in an attractive manner and residents' personal items are safeguarded
Maintain a work area free of hazardous conditions, i.e., spills, excessive supplies, equipment, etc.
Keep work and storage areas in a clean, organized, sanitary, and safe condition
Other duties assigned as needed
Requirements:
Practical knowledge of day-to-day cleaning in a long-term care facility
Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative, and make independent decisions
Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures
Approachable, flexible, and adaptable to change
Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with staff and vendors
