Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team.
In this role, you will help coordinate day-to-day human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, training, HR compliance, policies and procedures, and employee support.
The ideal candidate is a proactive professional who demonstrates excellent judgment, confidentiality, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills. You should be comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a professional and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment, Hiring & Onboarding
• Coordinate recruitment activities, job postings, candidate screening, and interviews
• Communicate professionally with applicants throughout the hiring process
• Coordinate new-hire onboarding and orientation
• Prepare and process employment-related documents and required paperwork
• Help ensure a professional and welcoming candidate and employee experience
Employee Records & HR Administration
• Maintain accurate and confidential personnel files and HR records
• Track employee documentation, performance reviews, training, and other HR requirements
• Maintain HR databases and assist with HR reporting
• Handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Training & Development
• Identify employee training and professional development needs
• Coordinate employee training sessions, workshops, meetings, and webinars
• Assist managers with implementing training and employee development initiatives
• Help promote accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth
HR Policies, Procedures & Compliance
• Assist with developing, reviewing, and maintaining HR policies and procedures
• Help ensure HR practices remain consistent with applicable federal, California, and local employment requirements
• Communicate HR policies and procedures clearly to employees and management
• Support consistent and professional implementation of workplace policies
Employee Relations & Workplace Culture
• Serve as a professional and approachable HR resource for employees and management
• Promote respectful, professional, and solution-oriented communication
• Help maintain a positive, collaborative, and productive workplace culture
• Address employee concerns professionally and escalate matters when appropriate
Offboarding
• Coordinate employee separation and offboarding procedures
• Prepare required documentation and maintain accurate records
• Help ensure company property, accounts, records, and other responsibilities are properly addressed during separation
Qualifications
• Previous experience in Human Resources, HR coordination, HR administration, HR Generalist responsibilities, or a related position
• Working knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment regulations
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
• Strong problem-solving skills and professional judgment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HR databases, or HR software preferred
• Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team
• Dependable, professional, and accountable
• Team player — no drama, no gossip
• Must have reliable transportation
