Position Summary

A Calibration Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy, precision, and reliability of our customers’ laboratory equipment. This position performs on-site and in-lab service, with all work and documentation completed in accordance with established procedures to ensure precision, reliability, and repeatability. Technicians contribute to a culture of quality, excellence, and continuous improvement.

Job Description

  • Drive to customer labs and perform onsite pipette service, repair, and calibration
  • Use precision tools and follow strict quality standards
  • Communicate with lab staff and provide exceptional service
  • Work independently in the field while maintaining a strong team mindset
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth scheduling and consistent communication
  • Document results and maintain accurate records
  • Lift up to 20lbs and walk moderate distances between parking and lab sites

Skills & Experience

  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong follow-through and reliability
  • Great communication and people skills
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office / Google Docs
  • Lab experience a plus — but we’ll train the right person
  • Mechanically inclined and comfortable with small tools
  • Able to think analytically and troubleshoot issues independently

  • 90% Onsite customer Lab / 10% Home office
