Winston Manor is seeking compassionate and dependable individuals to join our team as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Services Assistant (PRSA). This role supports residents with psychosocial, behavioral, and emotional needs while encouraging engagement, independence, and daily participation within a structured healthcare environment.

The PRSA works closely with residents and interdisciplinary teams to help create a supportive, therapeutic, and resident-centered atmosphere focused on dignity, well-being, and quality of life.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
  • Assisting residents with psychosocial and behavioral support needs through daily interaction and engagement

  • Supporting recreational, social, and life skills activities for residents

  • Encouraging resident participation and positive social interaction

  • Assisting with behavior management through supportive communication and de-escalation techniques

  • Observing and reporting resident behaviors or concerns to leadership as appropriate

  • Assisting with documentation related to resident participation and activities

  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to support resident care and programming

  • Helping maintain a structured, safe, and therapeutic environment

What We’re Looking For:
  • Previous healthcare, behavioral health, or resident care experience preferred

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Compassionate, patient, and resident-centered approach

  • Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations

  • Strong organizational and teamwork skills

  • Basic computer and documentation abilities

  • Ability to meet standard health and background requirements
