About This Role
We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate childcare professional to join our team at Huguenot UMC Preschool. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children, aged 0-5 years, and a passion for fostering healthy growth and development.

What You'll Do
The responsibilities of this role include:
Setting and following daily routines with the Co-Teacher
Engaging with children through conversations, reading, singing, and play
Developing monthly lesson plans
Maintaining open communication with parents regarding classroom achievements and children's progress
Creating bi-annual progress reports
Requirements
A background check is required. School hours are 8:00-5:30. Position begins August 24. 12 credits in college level early childhood education training or a CDA are necessary, along with experience working with preschoolers, patience, creativity, and a love of children. Schedule varies from year to year based on enrollment and your availability - can be part-time mornings only M-F, or full-time.
