CDL-A Hazmat/Tanker Truck Driver

HiFyve is hiring a CDL-A Hazmat/Tanker Truck Driver in the specialty chemicals industry in Pineville, LA!

Salary: $78,500+ annually — will train or pay for experience + $2,500 sign-on bonus

Shift: Weekly travel, typically Monday–Friday; team driving required on longer runs

Location: Pineville, LA — ideally within 2–3 hours

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver specialty chemical products across North America.
• Operate bobtail trucks, full-length trailers, and specialized delivery equipment.
• Average approximately 1,600 miles per week while following DOT hours-of-service requirements.
• Team drive on longer routes and complete deliveries independently at customer sites.
• Inspect equipment and maintain accurate DOT logs and delivery documentation.
• Follow all DOT, Hazmat, and company safety procedures.

Education Requirements

• Valid CDL-A with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• TWIC card preferred but not required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Long-distance driving experience preferred; specialized equipment training provided.
• Petrochemical/industrial experience is a plus and may qualify for higher pay.
• Comfortable with both manual and automatic trucks.
• Mechanical aptitude and strong safety awareness.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. and travel extensively.
• Comfortable with team driving and multiple nights away from home.

Travel: Typically leave Monday and return Thursday–Saturday. Hotels are provided during delivery days, along with up to $80/day for meals.
