Housekeeping Aide

Avalon Rehab & Care Center is seeking a dependable and hardworking Housekeeping Aide to join our team. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Schedule: 6AM-2PM, 3 weekdays and every Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities of Housekeeping Aide

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, hallways, offices, dining areas, and common spaces

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and sanitize assigned areas

• Remove trash and replace liners throughout the facility

• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed

• Follow infection control and safety procedures

• Maintain housekeeping equipment and report maintenance concerns

• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests

• Ensure all areas meet facility cleanliness standards

Qualifications for Housekeeping Aide

• Previous housekeeping, environmental services, janitorial, hotel, or healthcare cleaning experience is highly preferred

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail

• Reliable attendance and punctuality

• Ability to follow directions and safety procedures

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
