THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY
We're looking for a talented and customer-focused Aerospace Field Service & Training Specialist to join our team. In this dynamic role, you'll travel to customer sites across the Western US to deliver outstanding technical support, hands-on service, and training that helps our aerospace and defense customers get the most out of our EDM equipment.
You'll be the face of our company in the field — solving technical challenges, training operators, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to our continued growth.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
%CF; Provide expert on-site installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of our patented EDM systems at customer facilities.
%CF; Deliver high-quality technical training and engaging product demonstrations to military and commercial customers, both on-site and virtually.
%CF; Conduct valuable follow-up visits (typically 3–6 months later) to reinforce training, check performance, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
%CF; Identify ways customers can benefit from additional support or solutions and partner with the sales team to help them succeed.
%CF; Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers, including key decision-makers and influencers in OEMs, MROs, military units, and commercial airlines.
%CF; Represent the company professionally at customer sites, trade shows, and industry events.
%CF; Prepare and deliver clear, effective technical presentations and demonstrations to small groups.
%CF; Document site activities, training outcomes, and customer feedback to keep the team informed and continuously improve our service.
%CF; Contribute to the creation of training materials, case studies, and other helpful technical content.
%CF; Support occasional bid and proposal efforts by providing valuable technical insights.
%CF; Help forecast service needs and customer requirements to support smooth operations and planning.
%CF; Stay current on product capabilities and industry best practices in aerospace structural maintenance and MRO.
BACKGROUND PROFILE
%CF; 5+ years of hands-on aerospace or military structural/airframe maintenance, repair, or field service experience is a must, with no exceptions — specifically an Airframes MOS or equivalent hands-on structural repair background.
%CF; Experience delivering technical training or conducting product demonstrations is highly valued.
%CF; Comfortable preparing PowerPoint presentations and speaking in front of small groups.
%CF; Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
%CF; Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build positive relationships.
%CF; Flexible and excited about 50%+ travel, primarily across the Western United States.
