Sign-On Bonus up to $15,000Terms of payment vary based on experienceLocation: Arnot Ogden Medical Center Elmira, NY Schedule: Day shift; Full-time 80 hours per pay Department: Interventional RadiologyAbout the Role:We're seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our radiology team. In this role, you'll assist radiologists with angiographic and other specialized procedures, while also performing the full scope of duties expected of a radiologic technologist. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and enjoy a dynamic, team-oriented environment-plus a sign-on bonus up to $15,000-this opportunity is for you.Key Responsibilities:Perform all duties of a radiologic technologist.Assist radiologists during interventional procedures such as angiography, including managing instruments like catheters, guidewires, and needles.Prepare patients for specialized procedures with care and professionalism.Mix and administer contrast media as appropriate for each exam.Maintain a sterile field and prepare trays for procedures.Set up injection rates, imaging programs, and exposure sequences based on radiologist instructions.Take on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis.Demonstrate a commitment to quality and continuous improvement by participating in Quality in Action initiatives.Qualifications:Education & Certification:Current New York State Radiologic Technologist LicenseARRT Certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)Experience:Minimum of 1 year of radiologic technologist experience requiredCPR Certification:Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 90 days of hirePhysical Requirements:Frequent walking or standing (90%+ of the time)Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs for patient positioning and transportMust be able to push beds, stretchers, and mobile imaging equipmentExposure Risk:Category I: This position involves potential exposure to blood, body fluids, or tissues.
