HiFyve is hiring a Receiving Operator in Reading, PA!


Pay: $20.50/hour + $0.50/hour shift differential

Shift: 2nd Shift | 4:00 PM-12:00 AM | Rotating Schedule

Location: Reading, PA

About the Role

We're looking for a Receiving Operator to support dairy manufacturing operations, including receiving fluid products, transferring product throughout the facility, preparing equipment for production, and maintaining sanitation standards. This is a hands-on position working with tanks, silos, valves, hoses, and other processing equipment in a food manufacturing environment.


Job Responsibilities

  • Receive fluid products and monitor product movement into and out of storage vessels
  • Inspect tanks and storage vessels and respond to product flow or equipment issues
  • Prepare tanks, silos, valves, hoses, and related equipment based on daily production needs
  • Support product load-out, product transfers, and supply to production processes
  • Perform clean-in-place (CIP), clean-out-of-place (COP), and master sanitation activities
  • Collect product samples using proper sanitary procedures for laboratory testing
  • Complete shipping, receiving, sanitation, and HACCP documentation accurately
  • Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventive maintenance
  • Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work area and report equipment, safety, or quality concerns
  • Complete required safety, food safety, sanitation, and operational training


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience
  • Experience in food, beverage, dairy, production, receiving, or processing environments is a plus
  • Comfortable working around production equipment, tanks, valves, hoses, and fluid handling systems
  • Basic computer skills; experience with SAP or Microsoft Office is a plus
  • Ability to accurately complete production, sanitation, and receiving documentation
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to obtain Sampler's Certification within 90 days of employment
  • Ability to work a 2nd shift rotating schedule
