About the Role
As a Nursing Home Administrator, you will be responsible for:
• Overseeing all aspects of facility operations, including staffing, budgeting, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Managing daily operations to ensure the highest standards of care for residents in assisted living and long-term care settings.
• Supervising and supporting nursing staff in medication administration and other clinical practices.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures that enhance the quality of resident care.
• Collaborating with social workers to address the needs of residents and their families effectively.
• Maintaining financial oversight, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Fostering a positive workplace culture that promotes teamwork, professional development, and employee satisfaction.
• Ensuring that all staff are trained in best practices for memory care and senior living services.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
• Proven experience in operations management within a nursing home or similar healthcare setting.
• Strong understanding of senior care principles, including memory care practices.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and resource management.
• Knowledge of medication administration protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Background in social work or related fields is a plus.
• Exceptional communication skills to interact effectively with residents, families, staff, and regulatory agencies.
• A valid nursing home administrator license or certification as required by state regulations.
