Job Description
A 404-bed tertiary care Level II Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Kissimmee, FL is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to join its Vascular Interventional Radiology team.
The role. This position specializes in vascular interventional radiology technology, delivering expertise and skill in vascular angiographic imaging procedures within an angiography environment. Clinical procedural scope spans neurological, thoracic, abdominal, genitourinary, gastrointestinal nonvascular, peripheral, venous access, and miscellaneous interventional areas. The radiographer provides care and service to a critically through acutely ill adult and geriatric patient population, with an understanding of the functional and developmental needs of each individual served.
What we're looking for.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology or Radiology special procedures preferred
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) (R) required, CV Registered preferred
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- 1 year of experience preferred – can have less if have strong prior imaging experience (focus is interventional and neuro)
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date
Schedule. Four 10-hour day shifts (7:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; specific days determined at hire), with call coverage required Monday–Friday 5:30 p.m.–7:00 a.m. and Saturday–Sunday 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Compensation. $32.50 - $44.00/hr plus Sign On: NO SIGN ON Relocation Assistance: Case by Case
