Childcare Caregiver/Teacher

Creative Learning Center (CLC) is seeking caring and dedicated caregivers/teachers to work with children from infants to 12 years old. CLC offers training in child development to ensure a high-quality education and care for our young students. We welcome applicants with experience, but also consider those who are highly motivated to learn and grow in their role. A high school diploma or equivalent and a clear background check are required for this position.

• Care for children's physical, emotional, and social needs, encouraging their development and well-being.
• Plan and lead engaging activities to promote learning and exploration, such as arts, crafts, music, and storytelling.
• Prepare and serve meals and refreshments to children, while maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of individual children, promoting their cognitive, social, and emotional growth.
• Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and children, ensuring a collaborative and supportive environment.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, meals, and medication, as well as ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements.
• Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including playground safety and maintenance.
• Provide guidance and support to children, promoting positive self-concepts and social skills.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and care.
• Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, supporting colleagues and promoting a sense of community.

• Establish and maintain good communication with children, staff and parents in a clear, loving and professional manner.
• Able to lift children for play, changing and etc.
• Be knowledgeable of playground safety and maintain a safe play and learning environment
• Understand and follow minimum childcare standards
• Maintain necessary paperwork as required by State Licensing and any other State Agencies.
• Keep decorations in your classroom up to date and display children's work
• Responsible and Trustworthy
• Friendly and dependable

• State Driver's License or Identification Card

Creative Learning Center is a childcare center located in Beaumont,Texas that provides care for children 6 weeks to 13 years old. Our hours of operation is Monday thru Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
