Maintenance Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a high-performing Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, drive equipment reliability, and optimize plant operations. In this role, you will champion preventive maintenance programs, minimize production downtime, and foster a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
Lead & Mentor: Supervise, train, and inspire a team of maintenance technicians to perform safely and effectively.
Optimize Reliability: Develop and manage preventive/predictive maintenance (PM/PdM) programs for equipment, utilities, and facilities using CMMS.
Minimize Downtime: Plan maintenance schedules, lead root-cause troubleshooting for complex issues, and track KPIs (downtime, response time, costs).
Manage Operations & Budgets: Oversee the department budget, spare parts inventory, vendor relationships, and capital equipment projects.
Ensure Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to OSHA, EPA, and internal safety and quality standards.
What We’re Looking For
Experience: 5–7+ years of maintenance supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Technical Mastery: Deep knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and HVAC systems, alongside the ability to read complex schematics.
Methodologies: Strong background in CMMS software, Lean Manufacturing, and Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering preferred (or equivalent practical trade experience).
Leadership: Excellent communication, budgeting, coaching, and team-building skills.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Ability to walk, stand, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs within an active manufacturing setup.
Must be available for occasional on-call support and off-shift emergency response as needed.
