Golf Outside Service Attendent at Fox Den Country Club

Fox Den Country Club in Knoxville, TN is looking for Golf Outside Service Attendants to join our 151 person strong team. We are located on 12284 N Fox Den Drive. Our ideal candidate is a golfer, self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. This position reports directly to the Outside Supervisor Luke Johnson.

Right now we are looking to add on someone with flexible availability, specifically around 12:00 pm-9:00 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

• Member Service- Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous and professional manner.
• Assist guests with golf bags, loading and unloading onto carts, and maintains bag drop area.
• Provides carts that are in excellent working condition. All carts are clean, free of trash and fully stocked when they are parked in the staging area and when they are put away at night.
• Driving Range set up in the morning. Maintain the driving range throughout the day by restocking with golf balls, keeping the short game area picked up and tidy as well as picking the golf balls and cleaning them
• Maintain the Cart Barn by keeping it clean and organized and free of trash.
• Shifts vary depending on the season. Our 2 normal shifts are Open 630am -130pm and Closing 130pm-930pm. The closing shift is done when all of the carts are put away and closing tasks are complete. So you could leave before 930pm and sometimes you'll leave after 930pm
• Base pay starts at $10.50/hour plus tips hence the pay range.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid drivers license.
• Excellent Communication skills required
• Excellent listening and comprehension skills required
• Positive interpersonal skills required
• Ability to work well under pressure and coordinate multiple tasks
• Ability to lift 25lbs and bend while performing work duties
• Must be able to perform tasks outdoors in hot temperatures

• Golf staff is able to play and practice after 2pm if space allows. Sometimes we are too busy to accommodate employee play.
