Behavioral Health Technician 1st shift

Responsibilities:
Assist with the intake process and transportation needs for clients
Answer client questions and help them adjust to the program routine
Observe and report any changes in clients' physical or mental condition to the medical staff
Ensure the safety and well-being of clients at all times
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
1+ Years experience in the Mental Health Field (or corresponding college coursework) - preferable
Ability and desire to keep patients safe at all times
Professional demeanor and strong work ethic
CDCA
Valid Driver's License
Additional Expectations:
Establish and maintain healthy relationships with patients
Assist with admissions and orientation procedures
Complete timely and accurate shift reports and checklists
Facilitate orientation groups or meetings with patients
De-escalate and assist with patient issues
Monitor patient safety and well-being
Participate in staff meetings and trainings
