Job Description:

\tThe Long-Term Care Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the nursing unit during the night shift and ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and high-quality care. The Supervisor provides leadership and support to nursing staff, monitors resident care, and ensures compliance with facility policies and clinical standards.
\tKey Responsibilities:
\tSupervise and support nursing staff during the night shift.
\tMonitor resident care, safety, and overall well-being.
\tAddress clinical concerns and changes in residents' conditions.
\tCoordinate with nurses, CNAs, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
\tEnsure accurate and timely documentation and completion of required reports.
\tHandle staffing issues and provide guidance to team members.
\tEnsure compliance with facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
\tRespond appropriately to emergencies and resident/family concerns.
\tPromote teamwork and maintain a positive, professional environment.
\tPerform other duties as assigned.
\tSchedule:
\tNight shift
\tEvery other weekend
\tQualifications:
\tCurrent nursing license/certification as required by the facility.
\tLong-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred.
\tPrevious supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
\tStrong leadership, communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills.
\tAbility to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced long-term care environment.
\tRequirements:
\tRN license in NY
\tBLS & ACLS
