Reports To: Retail Sales Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary:
The Retail Sales Cashier is responsible for providing excellent guest service to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers. The Retail Sales Cashier assists with additional tasks including, but not limited to, stocking, cleaning, inventory, cash handling and merchandise pricing.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
The Retail Sale Cashier is responsible for the following duties:
- Greet everyone and proactively approach customers to support their shopping experience.
- Create an inclusive store environment where everyone (employees & customers) feels welcome, safe, and is treated with respect.
- Respond to problem situations with professionalism.
- Think critically to solve problems and approach challenges with agility.
- Communicate effectively with customers, employees, and management.
- Maintain an awareness of all product information, merchandise promotions and advertisements.
- Be aware of casino promotions and property amenities to communicate to guests.
- Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance and store housekeeping.
- Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise, receiving, and monitoring floor stock.
- Ensure that deliveries are checked and promptly put away.
- Clean and maintain displays/store to ensure a safe store environment.
- Accurately and efficiently complete all sales transactions and maintain proper cash and POS registers with little to no errors.
- Communicate customer requests to Management.
- Ensure that the arcade and vending machines are filled and cleaned.
- Assist with vending machines and arcade drops.
- Assist with monthly inventory.

Qualifications – Education and Experience:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Basic math skills, ability to run POS system, basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to accurately handle cash, credit/debit transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Ability to operate a cash register/POS system and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a professional, friendly, and positive demeanor with customers and coworkers.
- Ability to follow established cash-handling, security, and loss-prevention procedures.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and other shifts as required.
- Must be able to successfully complete all required pre-employment screening and meet applicable employment requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior retail sales, cashier, or customer-focused experience.
- High School Diploma or GED.
