Job Description
The Sales Coordinator supports the sales team throughout the order process and serves as a primary point of contact for customer questions related to orders, shipments, and delivery status. This position works closely with customers and internal departments to help ensure orders are entered accurately, documentation is completed, and customer deliverables remain on schedule.
This is a Hybrid Role: 2 days remote/3 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a primary point of contact for order-related questions.
- Enter and maintain sales orders in SAP.
- Provide order acknowledgments and general order information to customers.
- Track customer orders, shipments, and scheduled delivery dates.
- Communicate directly with customers regarding order and delivery status.
- Review offers using the company's calculator program to identify potential errors.
- Prepare invoicing schedules for the Finance department.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Transportation, Finance, and other internal teams to support order processing.
- Follow up with vendors and internal teams regarding documentation and delivery requirements.
- Support invoicing, billing activities, and weekly billing checklists.
- Perform administrative and sales support activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with administrative work.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Comfortable communicating with customers and international departments.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and varied environment.
- Team-oriented while also capable of independently prioritizing responsibilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong SAP experience preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working directly in SAP for sales order processing.
Additional Position Details:
- Salary: $65,000–$80,000.
- The position will work closely with a team based in Belgium.
- During the initial training period, the expected schedule is approximately 6:00 AM–3:00 PM to allow overlap with the Belgium team.
- The position requires approximately 1-2 weeks of international travel for initial training.
- SAP proficiency may be evaluated during the interview process.
