Position OverviewThe Engineer III - Structural performs engineering assignments that will build professional knowledge and skills, applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria across related tasks. This person applies basic judgment in the application of established methods and in selecting among standard engineering approaches, seeking guidance on more complex issues. They continue to develop technical expertise within a specific practice area while strengthening understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities, contributing to broader project efforts through consistent and reliable execution. We look for individuals who consistently demonstrate Passion, Integrity, Respect, and Teamwork in every interaction.Why Join UsEmployee-owned company where your work directly impacts employee value Opportunity to be a part of a growing organization with a strong foundationCollaborative, mission-driven teams which support meaningful projectsTypical Duties & ResponsibilitiesPerforms defined portions of broader engineering assignments with increasing independence and accountabilityApplies standard engineering practices and techniques, evaluates data, identifies discrepancies, and follows through on detailed processesPerforms standard computations, analysis, and technical evaluations to support project deliverySupports project management activities, including estimating, proposal preparation, and contract documentation for typical projectsMaintains direct communication with clients on assigned tasks and project coordinationAssists with permitting, applications, and preparation of design documents, including CADD workSubmits work for QA/QC review and incorporates feedback to ensure quality and accuracyProactively communicates with the Project Manager regarding project status, risks, or client concernsOther duties as assignedRequired QualificationsPassed Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam 3+ years of engineering experience Experience applying standard engineering practices, techniques, and analysis Ability to work independently on assigned tasks while collaborating with project teams Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred QualificationsProgress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure Experience supporting project management activities (e.g., estimating, proposals, contracts) Exposure to client communication and coordination Familiarity with permitting processes, design documentation, and CADD tools Experience working in a multi-discipline or team-based project environmentBenefit Offerings Health Insurance, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance & AD&D, Disability, 401k, ESOP, S-125 Plan, PTO, Holiday Pay and Flex Time.
