Position Details
Provide leadership, supervision and coordination of quality, strengths based, youth-centered education around mental health, wellness and substance use disorder prevention to youth, professionals and the community. Services are provided in various community settings. Position responsibilities include supervision of staff, reporting, outreach, group facilitation, program development and evaluation. Positive outcomes are achieved through purposeful and respectful relationships rooted in trauma informed care, hope and evidence-based research. An openness to embrace and explore bias, equity issues, successes and challenges from a place of understanding and curiosity is needed to succeed and develop in the position and organization.
Position Requirements
- Masters Degree in Social Work or similar
- Full State License (LMSW, LC etc)
- MI-AIMH certification or willing / able to actively pursue
- Proven experience working with young children and parents
- Prior supervision experience
- Experience providing and / or supporting community based work
- Valid Drivers license, current auto insurance and clean driving record require
