Job Description
Plumbing Trade Operations Superintendent – Multifamily, Dallas

Location: Dallas, TX (On-site) | Employment: Full-Time | Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 (experience-based)

Our Mission

Help us build and sustain Texas’s most critical environments. As an employee‑owned MEP organization, we deliver end‑to‑end building solutions—design through service and facilities maintenance—for hospitals, schools, data centers, stadiums, and commercial facilities across Texas and the Southwest. Ownership means your voice is heard, your development is prioritized, and your career has momentum. We’re nationally recognized as a great place to work, grounded in trust and servant leadership. Join a growing team where your expertise makes a lasting impact.

The Challenge

Imagine stepping onto a multifamily site in DFW with multiple buildings in play. Materials are in motion, inspections are queued, and crews need direction. You create clarity: orchestrating trade groups, sequencing tasks, and clearing constraints so the plumbing scope hits every milestone—safely, accurately, and efficiently—across both multifamily and commercial projects.

How You’ll Lead
  • Be the field authority for plumbing, setting the bar for safety and workmanship while guiding partners with practical technical expertise.
  • Grow your team—manage, coach, and develop direct reports through consistent, meaningful performance discussions.
  • Build winning sequences and adjust plans using knowledge of labor, tools, and equipment to protect the schedule.
  • Track performance—confirm earned value and verify forecasted percent completes.
  • Audit quality—inspect in‑process and finished work against drawings and specifications.
  • Protect people—perform safety walks, remove hazards immediately, and drive incident reduction.
  • Apply LEAN and Quality practices—pull planning, six‑week look‑aheads, value mapping, and constraint logs.
  • Own the numbers—estimate labor hours to schedule and budget; produce takeoffs, estimates, and pricing for scope changes.
  • Unblock progress—resolve productivity gaps, interfaces, and manpower issues; surface interferences and schedule risks to senior supervision and project management.
  • Align stakeholders—coordinate with Purchasing, Quality Control, Engineering, and others so materials, equipment, and inspections land exactly when needed.
  • Set the tone—run pre‑job and planning meetings so every team member understands contracts, schedules, and any unique project requirements.
What It Takes
  • At least 5 years of construction management experience.
  • Advanced command of construction processes, means, and methods.
  • Expert knowledge of building products, construction details, codes/regulations, and quality benchmarks.
  • Proficiency with blueprints, coordination/BIM drawings, submittals, specifications, details, and work orders.
  • Ability to plan comprehensively and connect day‑to‑day execution to overall project objectives.
  • Demonstrated leadership plus strong time and project management.

  • All role‑required licenses and certifications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science, Building Science, Construction Management, or related field preferred.

  • Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits.
