Construction Field Superintendent

Industrial Shadeports Inc is searching for a full time Construction Field Superintendent in our Fort Lauderdale location. This Position is responsible for Construction for all types of Shade Sails and Shade Structures. Core Responsibilities:

Work directly with crews to build and install shade structures, ensuring high quality and safety.

Track, organize, and maintain tools, heavy machinery, and construction materials on site.

Update clients on daily progress, answer questions, and resolve any on-site concerns immediately.

Daily Duties:

Lead morning safety meetings and direct the work crew.

Check kit materials against the project list to avoid shortages.

Ensure all work follows safety rules and local building codes.

Qualifications:

Previous experience with custom engineered products and construction projects is preferred.

Experience operating and overseeing Heavy Equipment safely and efficiently on active job sites.

Proficiency in Quality Control practices, including inspecting work, verifying measurements, and ensuring adherence to plans and specifications.

Effective Communication skills for coordinating crews, interacting with clients, and collaborating with project managers.

Solid understanding of construction safety regulations and ability to enforce safety protocols.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project documentation.

High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in construction or civil engineering-related fields is beneficial.

Valid driver’s license, ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and reliable transportation are required.
