Clinical Intern
Job Description
The Clinical Intern at Hope on Haven Hill (HHH) is a supervised clinical training position designed for students pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in social work, counseling, clinical psychology, or a related field. The intern provides hands-on experience supporting pregnant and postpartum women with substance use disorders in a nurturing, therapeutic residential environment focused on recovery, safety, and healthy family relationships.
Working under the guidance of the Field Supervisor, Clinical Director, and/or Executive Director, the Clinical Intern participates in individual, group, and family counseling while developing skills in trauma-responsive care, gender-responsive treatment, relapse prevention, crisis intervention, and treatment of co-occurring disorders.
Requirements
- Time-based internship position as indicated by academic program.
- Requires active participation in academic program.
- Various background checks and medical exams as required by funders.
- Position based in Rochester, NH.
