PRIMARY PURPOSE:

AHF Products is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Procurement & Logistics Specialist to support purchasing and logistics activities. This role works closely with internal teams and suppliers to manage purchase orders, coordinate material and freight needs, resolve invoice and delivery issues, and support supplier and procurement activities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and issue purchase orders within the ERP system and convert approved purchase requisitions into purchase orders.
  • Source materials and services, obtain supplier quotations, and support RFQ/RFP activities.
  • Assist with supplier negotiations involving pricing, delivery, payment terms, and freight.
  • Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, pricing, quality, and supply issues.
  • Coordinate domestic/global freight receipts and shipments as needed.
  • Code and reconcile freight invoices and resolve freight discrepancies.
  • Partner with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve PO, receipt, and invoice issues.
  • Support supplier onboarding, vendor changes, and ERP/master data updates.
  • Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, purchasing, and logistics information.
  • Assist with Procurement reporting, spend analysis, PPV, open reporting, and project tracking.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Finance.
  • Perform other Procurement and Logistics duties as assigned.
  • Research and resolve freight invoice discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with carriers, suppliers, Procurement, Operations, and plant personnel to address transportation and delivery issues.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics experience
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as M3, SAP, Oracle, or similar systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with global sourcing and import/export logistics.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
