Job Description
Your Night, Your Team, Your Impact

As the Manufacturing Operations Team Lead on our night shift, you guide a skilled crew to produce safely, efficiently, and to exacting quality standards. You’ll work Monday–Friday nights, with weekend overtime as business needs arise, keeping production moving and people supported.

A Night in the Role

The shift begins with a quick handoff and a safety-focused huddle. You align staffing to the schedule, check material availability in the ERP/MRP system, and ensure each cell is set up to run. Through the night, you coach operators, monitor quality and throughput, log performance, and remove roadblocks—calling in maintenance support when needed. Before the sun comes up, you verify documentation, tidy and secure the floor, and prep the next team for success.

What You’ll Lead and Do
  • Direct and support production employees throughout the assigned night shift.
  • Champion safety, quality, and productivity compliance—every task, every time.
  • Track output, downtime, and quality checks; complete and verify all required records.
  • Train, coach, and mentor teammates on SOPs, safe work practices, and job skills.
  • Allocate people and resources to meet the production plan and schedule.
  • Troubleshoot process issues; coordinate with maintenance for timely repairs.
  • Keep the workspace orderly, clean, and safe.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required).
  • Background in manufacturing/production (preferred).
  • Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Clear communicator with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer literacy.
Physical Requirements
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the shift.
  • Comfort working in a manufacturing setting around industrial equipment.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.
