About the Role

We are hiring an Automotive Technician to diagnose issues, complete repairs, and maintain vehicle performance with a strong focus on workmanship and technical accuracy. This role is well suited for someone who prefers hands-on problem-solving, works independently for extended periods, and follows established service and safety standards carefully.

Core Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems using established procedures and technical documentation
  • Perform routine maintenance services, including inspections, testing, adjustments, and part replacement
  • Document findings, completed work, and recommended repairs accurately in service records
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify root causes and verify repair quality
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area while following shop procedures and manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all work performed
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure customer satisfaction

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working through technical problems independently
  • Ability to follow detailed procedures, specifications, and safety requirements consistently
  • Careful documentation habits and attention to repair accuracy
  • Comfort spending sustained time on focused, hands-on work with limited need for frequent social interaction
  • Familiarity with diagnostic equipment, repair manuals, and service systems

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or in a related vehicle service role
  • Proficiency with diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to move, inspect, and test vehicles as needed
  • ASE certification or manufacturer-specific training preferred
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence
