$15 hourly to start
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and sanitized promptly to maintain a smooth kitchen flow.
- Organize and store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in their designated areas to support efficient kitchen operations.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment by regularly sweeping and mopping floors, and disposing of waste properly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available for seamless operations.
- Monitor dishwashing machines to ensure they are operating efficiently and report any malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Support the kitchen team during peak hours by quickly and efficiently managing dishwashing tasks.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices and safety protocols in the kitchen environment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Past dishwasher or casual dining restaurant experience is a plus, but not necessary.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and carry at least thirty (30) pounds.
- Ability to perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
