Registered Nurse - Emergency Department- Night Shift

Holdenville General Hospital is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team. This position provides high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the delivery of timely and effective emergency services to our rural community.Responsibilities:Deliver direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department according to established policies and proceduresTriage patients and perform focused assessmentsCollaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plansAdminister medications and treatments accurately and safelyRespond to emergency situations and code procedures efficientlyMaintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)Educate patients and families on condition, care, and discharge instructionsUphold infection control and patient safety standardsQualifications:Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of OklahomaBLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (or ability to obtain upon hire)TNCC certification preferredMinimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience preferredStrong critical thinking, communication, and multitasking skillsFlexibility to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as neededMust be able to pass a background check and complete a pre-employment drug test with a negative result.
