RN Supervisor

Stamford Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut. As a RN Supervisor at Stamford Care Center, you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional resident care and leading a team of dedicated nursing staff.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on assigned units and monitor ongoing evaluation of staff performance and activities to achieve optimal resident care
• Ensure new admissions, discharges, and transfers are accurately entered into Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner
• Daily monitoring of the electronic medical dashboard, including alerts, incomplete UDAs, and immunization entries
• Conduct rounds of all residents to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement
• Complete MDS as required for all new admissions and review resident/patient accident/incident reports, initiating investigations of unknown origin
• Submit accident/incident reports and completed investigations to the ADNS within 48 hours of occurrence
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) and a Connecticut Licensed RN
• Ability to work weekends (7A-7P) and/or on-call rotation every 3 weeks, with flexibility to work variable shift times
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care
