Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive intraoperative nursing care during surgical procedures.
Assess patient status pre-, intra-, and post-operatively and document findings.
Ensure sterile techniques and maintain a safe operating room environment.
Maintain accurate documentation for compliance, billing, and audit readiness.
Collaborate with surgeons and teams to anticipate equipment needs and troubleshoot.
Monitor and manage anesthesia equipment and supplies within scope.
Lead quality improvement initiatives to optimize perioperative outcomes.
Demonstrate results-driven performance with clear activity and outcome visibility.
Uphold infection prevention protocols and participate in patient safety initiatives.
Educate patients and families about perioperative care and recovery expectations.
Assist in the development and execution of professional development plans.
