Exciting Opportunity for an Afternoon Teacher to Join Our Preschool Team!
We are seeking a caring and energetic individual to oversee our preschool children ages 2.5 to 5 during aftercare hours. This position is perfect for someone who is pursuing a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive team environment. Alternatively, it is ideal for an individual who enjoys working with children and is looking for a flexible, part-time position in the afternoon.

What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and supervise children during aftercare hours (1/2PM to 5:30PM), creating a fun and inclusive environment.
- Organize and lead outdoor games and activities that foster teamwork, kindness, and creativity.
- Maintain a safe and welcoming space for all children, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
- Build strong relationships with children, families, and staff, creating a sense of community and belonging.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Has a genuine passion for working with young children in a play-based, nurturing environment.
- Is dependable, patient, and has a positive attitude, making them a joy to work with.
- Possesses prior experience working with children, whether as a caregiver, babysitter, or teacher (preferred).
Requirements
Passion for working with children aged 2 to 5
High School Diploma or equivalent
Patience, kindness and a sense of humor
Nice To Haves
One or more years of experience in the early childhood field.
First Aid/CPR certification
