Now Hiring: Dietary Aide / Food Service Worker
People Plus is hiring dependable and compassionate Dietary Aides / Food Service Workers for a locally owned and operated nursing home group dedicated to providing quality care and nutritious meals to residents.
Pay:
- 1st Shift: $12.00/hour
- 2nd Shift: $13.00/hour
Shifts Available:
- 1st Shift: 4:30 AM – 12:00 PM
- 2nd Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
- Weekend Shift
Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and food service
- Serve meals according to dietary guidelines and special diet requirements
- Maintain portion control and food quality standards
- Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining, and food preparation areas
- Wash dishes and keep the kitchen organized
- Support residents during meal service as needed
- Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
- Work closely with the dietary and nursing teams
Qualifications:
- Previous food service or dietary experience is preferred, but not required
- Ability to follow directions and dietary instructions
- Dependable with excellent attendance
- Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Willing to work assigned shifts, including weekends
- Passion for providing respectful, resident-centered care
