Overview
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Commercial Masons for projects located in or around New Richmond, WI. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $32-$38/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
- Perform site layout including establishing corners, squaring the site, and snapping level lines
- Lay leads and build wall corners to establish proper height and alignment
- Lay CMU block while maintaining proper alignment using mason's line
- Butter block by applying mortar to ends and faces before placement
- Tool mortar joints to ensure proper compression and finish
- Install vertical and horizontal reinforcement as required
- Grout reinforced block walls to meet structural specifications
- Follow all job-site safety requirements and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Must have commercial masonry experience
- Must provide and wear all required PPE
- Must have standard masonry hand tools including; trowels, levels, mason's line, jointing tools, etc.
- Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to quality workmanship
