RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager to join our dedicated team at Deer Meadows Rehabilitation Center. As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our skilled nursing unit, providing exceptional care and guidance to our nursing staff. This is a full-time, Monday-to-Friday position that offers a challenging and rewarding work environment.
RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership: Supervise and manage a team of licensed and certified nursing staff, ensuring compliance with established standards of care and policies.
Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance patient care, safety, and satisfaction.
Staff Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to nursing staff, promoting continuous learning and professional growth.
Communication: Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to achieve patient-centered care.
Department Operations: Ensure efficient and effective management of nursing resources, including staffing, supplies, and equipment.
RN Registered Nurse Unit Manager Requirements:
Experience: Prior experience as a Registered Nurse, with a focus on gerontological nursing and leadership.
Licensure: Active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Pennsylvania.
