Architect Position Description:Position Description:Update the projects transition plans and track statusProvide guidance for teams working on projects related to ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) complianceConfer with design team for design interpretation in regard to ADA complianceCoordinate design and construction work with other disciplinesProvide technical guidance to assigned team in the interpretation of design criteria in regard to ADA complianceProvide coordination of all trades related to building design,monitor working drawings, and presentation and coordination with agencies affecting the designReview specifications for accuracy and compliance with criteria and standardsReview and check designs for technical accuracy,compliance with criteria,and standards in regard to ADA complianceReport all issues and status to Program Management OfficePerform other duties as assignedMinimum Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related disciplineMinimum of 8 years working in the design and construction fieldMinimum 4 years experience in educational facility design and construction.Experience in interpretation of ADA regulatory requirementsCASP certifiedCADD experience requiredKnowledge of all (current & past) state and federal access codes and lawsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentExperience managing projects for multiple sitesGood verbal communication skillsTo see new and updated job postings and job postings similar to this, please follow us on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/summithr
