Shag Driver
Reports to: Warehouse Supervisor
Shift: 2nd Shift
Reporting Staff: None
Alternate in Case of Absence: None
Position Summary:
This position will be responsible for driving the shag truck to hook up to trailers and move them in and out of the docks to be loaded/unloaded by the Warehouse Team Members. During downtime of driving the shag truck, this position will work as a warehouse operator.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently move trailers to different locations
- Communicate with supervisor and clerks when/where trailers are located
- Reports any safety issues of tractor vehicle
- Complete yard checks
- Responsible for Food Safety
- Material Handler Forklift Operator during downtime as shag driver
