What You’ll Do

As a Cashier at Fishhook Seafood, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our guests have a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. Your responsibilities will include:
- Greeting customers with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Taking accurate orders in person and over the phone.
- Operating the POS system and processing cash and card payments.
- Answering customer questions about menu items.
- Double-checking orders for accuracy before handing them to customers.
- Packaging and organizing takeout and delivery orders.
- Keeping the front counter, dining area, and workstations clean and organized.
- Restocking sauces, utensils, napkins, cups, and other front-of-house supplies.
- Communicating effectively with cooks and other team members.
- Assisting with opening and closing duties.
- Following all food-safety, cleanliness, and customer-service standards.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:
- Friendly, dependable, and customer-focused.
- Reliable, punctual, and positive.
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Experienced in restaurant or cashier roles (1 year preferred, but we’re willing to train the right person).
- A strong communicator and team player.
