Professional Painter
Job Description

Reliable and process-driven painter who can work professionally with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project requirements.

Perform a variety of painting and preparation tasks, including:
Scaffold assembly and setup
Sanding and removing old paint
Filling drywall holes, cracks, and imperfections
Surface preparation and repairs
Mixing and matching paint
Painting interior and exterior surfaces
Experience with residential and industrial painting is preferred.
Comfortable using a variety of hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining clean work areas and delivering a flawless finished product.
Must be reliable, organized, professional, and personable when working with clients and team members.
If you have a full crew and proper insurance, including General Liability and Workers' Compensation, you may be eligible for subcontracting opportunities.

$22 - $26 hourly
Responsibilities:
- Apply primer or sealers to paint surfaces
- Cover trim, fixtures, furniture, and floors to protect them from paint
- Fill holes and cracks with putt, and sand away old paint to prepare surfaces for painting
- Talk with clients to understand their needs and help them make the best decision
- Erect scaffolding when required
Qualifications:
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and perform tasks requiring stamina, dexterity, and strength.
- Basic knowledge of painting techniques and tools preferred; training is available.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- 2+ years of painting experience and completed apprenticeship preferred, but not required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
