Job Description
Caregiver Expert-Rose of Sharon Senior Villa (1 Full Time 3rd Shift, 1 full time 2nd shift 2 part time morning shift) $14.00 / hr. after 15 day training.
Position Summary
The Caregiver Expert is responsible for providing compassionate, dependable, and respectful care to residents while helping maintain a safe, clean, comfortable, and welcoming home environment. This position is more than completing a list of tasks—it is about making sure every resident feels seen, respected, safe, and cared for.

Essential Responsibilities
The Caregiver Expert will:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and other personal-care needs within the employee's training and permitted scope.
Treat every resident with dignity, patience, respect, and compassion.
Complete required hourly resident rounds and accurately document them.
Observe residents for changes in condition, behavior, mobility, appetite, mood, or functioning and promptly report concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
Assist with meals, hydration, resident activities, and other daily needs.
Maintain resident rooms and common areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition according to assigned responsibilities.
Complete shift duties, cleaning assignments, and other required tasks before leaving the facility.
Participate in an effective shift handoff, communicating important resident and facility information to the incoming team.
Complete required documentation accurately and on time.
Follow Rose of Sharon policies regarding resident safety, privacy, confidentiality, infection control, emergency procedures, incident reporting, and professional conduct.
Use required company systems, including QuickBooks Time, Zenzap, CARESync forms/tools, and other designated technology.
Work cooperatively with coworkers and communicate respectfully with residents, families, leadership, and other members of the care team.
Attend required meetings, training, coaching, and competency reviews.
Immediately report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, safety hazards, incidents, or other serious concerns according to facility policy and applicable reporting requirements.
Perform other duties reasonably related to resident care and facility operations as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates should:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have a high school diploma/GED or meet applicable position requirements.
Demonstrate the ability to safely provide assigned resident-care duties.
Successfully complete required background screening and employment requirements.
Maintain any training/certification required for the position.
Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
Be comfortable using basic digital systems for timekeeping, communication, and documentation.
Demonstrate dependability, professionalism, teamwork, and good judgment.
Be able to work scheduled shifts, including weekends and holidays when assigned.
Physical Requirements
The position may require prolonged standing and walking; bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and assisting with resident mobility; and lifting or transferring residents/items consistent with facility safety procedures, training, and any required assistive equipment.
What Success Looks Like
A successful Caregiver Expert leaves their shift knowing that residents were cared for, documentation was completed, assigned responsibilities were finished, the facility was left ready for the next shift, and important information was properly handed off.
