Come Join Our Team! Universal Joint is hiring experienced line cooks.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Creating orders with a friendly and professional attitude, respecting people and place
• Preparing food made to order to ensure serving hot/fresh quality products with attention to detail that ensures accuracy and timeliness
• Must be agile and willing to work all kitchen duties and functions including but not limited to prep, cold station, fry, grill, sauté, cleaning, packaging and presentation
• Meeting or exceeding speed of service standards
• Keep the kitchen counters/ floors/ back line /smallwares/ coolers clean following proper hygiene standards
• Always follow all food and personal safety procedures including personal safety equipment (PSE)
• Replenish and rotate supplies every shift as needed
• Arrive for work on time on scheduled workdays
• Be dressed and ready to work, ensuring hygiene and appearance adheres to the companies uniform guidelines
• Utilize operating equipment as assigned, and only for the designated purpose of the equipment
