We’re seeking a creative and energetic Preschool Teacher to bring laughter, excitement, and faith-filled learning into the classroom. If teaching through play, singing Bible songs, and guiding children to discover God through the Bible is your heart’s desire, we'd love to meet you!
The Early Childhood Teacher will be dedicated to nurturing and inspiring young children. This dynamic role involves creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment that fosters spiritual growth, curiosity, social-emotional development, and foundational skills. Your enthusiasm and expertise will empower young learners to explore their world confidently, while supporting individual developmental needs through innovative teaching strategies and compassionate care. The Teacher will also build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.

What You'll Do
Teaching Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that foster creativity, critical thinking, and social skills while aligning with early childhood education standards.
- Manage classroom activities to promote positive behavior management and a respectful, inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children with special educational needs and early intervention strategies to facilitate their learning and social integration.
- Conduct ongoing assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor progress and inform instructional adjustments.
- Maintain open communication with families about child welfare, developmental milestones, and classroom experiences.
- Create a well-organized and safe classroom environment that encourages independence, active participation, and learning.
Requirements
Experience and Requirements
- Professing Christian with a clearly communicated Biblically sound salvation experience.
- Exhibit a Christ-like servant attitude.
- Strong commitment to a Biblical worldview.
- Maintain a personal appearance that is a Christian role model of cleanliness, modesty, good taste, and in agreement with ministry policy.
- High School Diploma or TECTA required. (CDA and/or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education preferred).
- Must have Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification or be willing to get it.
- Must clear full background check and pass health screening.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional child care experience in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is essential.
- High energy and ability to interact well with children, stoop, sit on the floor and lift up to 35 lbs.
- Strong written communication skills and basic computer skills.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with childhood development principles, including literacy education, math concepts, and physical education.
- Experience working with children who have special needs or require early intervention services is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills for engaging effectively with children, families, colleagues, and community partners.
- Knowledge of standardized testing procedures relevant to early childhood assessment tools.
