Endocrinologist (MD/DO)
Job Type: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM | In-Person (Outpatient Only)
Location: Los Angeles, CA area
We are seeking a full-time, in-person Endocrinologist to join a mission-driven, multidisciplinary outpatient healthcare organization serving diverse and medically underserved communities throughout the greater Los Angeles area.
The organization operates multiple state-of-the-art outpatient clinics, delivering high-impact specialty care to patients managing complex metabolic, thyroid, and endocrine disorders. In this role, you will work alongside a deeply integrated care team—including primary care physicians, fellow specialists, advanced practice providers, behavioral health clinicians, and dedicated case managers. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive diagnostic, consultative, and treatment services to adult patients presenting with endocrine, metabolic, and hormonal disorders
- Design, implement, and monitor complex, high-impact clinical management plans for advanced diabetes care, utilizing continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pump therapy where appropriate
- Act as the subject matter expert and consultant for the primary care team, working collaboratively across disciplines to ensure a seamless continuum of care
- Maintain highly detailed, accurate, and timely patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Participate actively in internal quality improvement initiatives, diabetes education programs, and population health strategies to optimize chronic disease outcomes across the community
- Educate patients and their support systems on long-term treatment protocols, lifestyle modifications, and self-management strategies
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited institution
- In process or completing fellowship in Endocrinology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Endocrinology
- Active, unrestricted California medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain) and valid DEA registration
