Pharmacist

PHARMACIST
**DAY SHIFT HOURS**NO HOLIDAYS**NO WEEKENDS**
We are currently seeking a pharmacist to join our team of dynamic long-term care professionals. As a King David Center Pharmacist, you will be a member of the medical staff caring for the needs of our diverse community of seniors living on our campus.

Essential Qualifications:
Must have a Pharm D or BS in Pharmacy

· Must be Ohio State Board of Pharmacy licensed.

Salary: competitive salary based on experience

Essential Functions:

· Evaluate incoming new orders for appropriateness of therapy, dose, indication, drug interaction, renal/hepatic dosing and geriatric guidelines.

· Perform data entry and final review of medication orders, non-sterile compounding as needed, oversight and verification of unit dose packaging systems and management of pharmacy technicians.

· Maintain patient/resident database to include appropriate current and past medical history, appropriate clinical and laboratory data and concurrent medication.

· Provides clinical expertise by responding to drug-related questions and concerns.

· Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide clinical and technical support as needed.

· Cover on call on a rotating basis.
